The “Make a Difference” button is in place and ready to assist individuals who want to support service members and their families this holiday season at www.BeyondTheYellowRibbon.org.
“The Make a Difference button on the Beyond the Yellow Ribbon’s website helps align the good intentions of Minnesotans with actual needs of military families,” said Sergeant Patrick Loch, public affairs sergeant for Beyond the Yellow Ribbon.
“The need is right here at home with fewer Minnesota service members deployed than in previous years,” said Major Kristen Augé, deputy director of public affairs for the Minnesota National Guard. “It’s still good to support service members deployed, but some of our service members and their families at home could use an extra hand this holiday season.”
Loch added, “If you’re looking to join a Yellow Ribbon Network or support one of the dozens of nonprofit organizations headquartered in Minnesota that support service members, the Make a Difference button can help with that.”
