State swimming: Cards' season closes in preliminaries; Minnewaska-Morris' Opdahl advances to finals
The Cardinal 200 medley relay team finished 23rd overall in the preliminaries of the State Class A swimming and diving meet at the University of Minnesota Aquatic Center yesterday, ending the season.
Kalli Bowser, Madalyn Winger, Hannah Eklund and Beth Burnham swam a 1:56.54.
Minnewaska-Morris Gator swimmer Bridget Opdahl finished fourth in the 50 free prelims and fifth in the 100 free prelims to advance to today's finals, posting times of 24.25 and 53.49 respectively.
Opdahl begins finals at noon today.
