Holiday bazaar
Saturday, November 17: Villard United Methodist Church is offering its annual holiday bazaar at the church from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. It includes handmade crafts, Christmas cookies and a bake sale. Lunch will be served at 10:30 a.m. with chicken a la king, vegetable, desserts and beverages. All are welcome.
Holiday boutique
Saturday, November 17: Trinity Lutheran is holding its second annual holiday boutique in Holmes City from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be a bake sale, 40-plus vendors/crafters, a silent auction, live music and lefse demonstrations. Coffee and rolls ($3), and chicken wild rice soup and sandwiches ($5) will be served all day. Proceeds will go toward Trinity’s new handicap-accessible addition.
Free supper
Sunday, November 18: First Lutheran Church in Alexandria is offering a free supper from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the church, 822 Douglas St. For information, call (320) 762-2196.
