Raptor Center fundraiser to take place soon

The Raptor Center at the University of Minnesota will hold a fundraising online auction from Tuesday, December 4 to Wednesday, December 12. All proceeds from the sale of donated items and experiences will benefit The Raptor Center.

Funds raised will go toward the care of over 700 sick and injured raptors that are admitted into The Raptor Center’s clinic each year, as well as toward the costs of education programs for underserved area schools.

Auction items will include, but are not limited to:

$800 gift card for Delta Vacations

Weekend “tree house” get-away in northern Minnesota

Candlelight Ski & Snowshoe weekend for two at Wolf Ridge in Ely, MN

Minnesota Gopher Hockey tickets

Clubhouse seating, admission and buffet for four at Canterbury Park

Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) at the Xcel Energy Center, St. Paul, Minn.

Passes to attractions such as the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum and Mill City Museum

Hotel stays and restaurant gift certificates

Seventy-five ($75) dollars feeds The Raptor Center’s education birds for one day, while $500 provides anesthesia and surgery to a bald eagle with a broken wing that has come into the center’s clinic.
