Annual bazaar
Saturday, November 10: Bethesda Lutheran Church in Alexandria is offering its annual bazaar from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Coffee and homemade rolls will be served at 8 a.m. and a lunch of creamed turkey and mashed potatoes served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will be lefse (preorder at (320) 763-5164), baked goods, crafts, a raffle quilt, coverlet and guided fishing trip.
Holiday boutique
Saturday, November 17: Trinity Lutheran is holding its second annual holiday boutique in Holmes City from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be a bake sale, 40-plus area vendors/crafters, a silent auction, live music and lefse demonstrations. Coffee and rolls ($3), and chicken wild rice soup and sandwiches ($5) will be served all day. Proceeds go toward Trinity’s handicap-accessible addition.
Annual holiday bazaar
Saturday, November 17: Villard United Methodist Church will host its annual holiday bazaar at the church from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will be handmade crafts, Christmas cookies and a bake sale. Lunch will be served at 10:30 a.m. with chicken a la king, vegetable, choice of desserts and beverages. All are welcome.
