Friends of Knute raise more than $3,000 at event

The Friends of Knute sponsored the second annual Festival of Tables event on Saturday, October 27 at Broadway Ballroom in Alexandria.

There were 193 people in attendance to enjoy the 25 uniquely decorated tables. Each table hostess selected a theme for her table and designed around that theme. 

Entertainment was provided by The Grand Arbor Choir, Doo-Wop-Divas and Paulette Friday, storyteller. Lunch was served by Broadway Ballroom.

Six items were auctioned off in the Lucky Buck auction, bringing in more than $1,000.   More than $3,000 total was raised at this event.

Proceeds will be used to enhance the lives of those served by Knute Nelson.
