Letter - Fun with fairy tales
Some time ago, a letter in your pages suggested that global warming and resultant climate change is a “fairy tale.” I began to wonder about other possible fairy tales, such as “warm air rises, cools and condenses.” Just how can that be?

Then there is that spooky notion that warmed air harbors increasing numbers of ghastly water molecules the warmer it gets! And what about the idea that shape-shifting ultra rays of a violet hue morph themselves into hot red rays just as they shine through a glass or vapor?
Perhaps evil mathematical geniuses are calculating moving averages to entrance innocents into believing that temperatures around are actually rising. Sinister science gremlins must be concocting these notions to keep us awake at night.
