To the editor:
Last year, more than 47,000 individual donors logged on to GiveMN.org and gave more than $13 million to nearly 4,000 Minnesota charities and nonprofits in 24 hours during Give to the Max Day.
November 15 is the fourth annual Give to the Max Day. The Douglas County nonprofits together with GiveMN.org, a giving website for nonprofits and schools in Minnesota, are working to create a stronger nonprofit community for Douglas County and Minnesota.
Give throughout the day, as “Golden Ticket” donor drawings will be done every hour where a Douglas County nonprofit has the chance to win a $1,000 grant and grand prizes of $10,000 will be awarded to one nonprofit and one public school at the end of Give to the Max Day.
By giving online with GiveMn, Douglas County residents will have the opportunity to make a huge difference for nonprofits in our area. Log on to www.GiveMN.org on November 15 and give to your favorite charity or school. Be a part of this historical event and join this “Great Minnesota Give Together!”
