UPDATE 12:45 A.M. ELECTION: Krebs wins District 206 School Board; two challengers win county commissioner races; Carlson is mayor

In an extremely close race for Alexandria School District 206, Angie Krebs won by just 55 votes out of more than 13,000 ballots that were cast.
Results from all 37 precincts in Douglas County have now been tabulated.
As reported earlier, two challengers have defeated incumbents in Douglas County commissioner races. The winners are Jim Stratton and Charlie Meyer. In another commissioner race, incumbent Dan Olson edged Carol Wenner by just 18 votes.
Other commissioner winners announced previously were incumbents Bev Bales and Jerry Johnson.
Meanwhile, Sara Carlson handily won the race for Alexandria mayor. In Alexandria City Council races, challenger Todd Jensen defeated incumbent Elroy Frank, and incumbent Owen Miller won re-election.
