Annual holiday bazaar
Saturday, November 3: United Methodist Church is offering its annual holiday bazaar from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Pollard Community Center in Osakis. Morning coffee, juice and rolls will be served at 8:30 a.m. The bazaar will include a bake table, crafts, country store, cookie corner and more.
Harvest Festival
Sunday, November 4: Kensington Covenant Church in Kensington invites the community to their annual Harvest Festival at 7:30 p.m. Marvin Andreasen and Charlotte Norlien will perform an organ and piano program. Ted Pederson of Lowry will present a gospel medley on the guitar. There will also be a hymn sing. Pie and ice cream follow the program. For information, call (320) 491-3245
Spaghetti Dinner
Thursday, November 8: First Congregational United Church of Christ at 7th and Elm in Alexandria is hosting a spaghetti dinner from 4:30 to 7 p.m. It will serve spaghetti, meatballs, salad, garlic bread and beverages. During the dinner, there will be a bake sale featuring holiday foods and a silent auction, closing at 6:30 p.m. The cost is $7 for adults and $4 for youth. Toddlers are free. Bill Riggs will provide “music to dine by.”
Dinner and silent auction
Thursday, November 8: The First Congregational United Church of Christ, 221 7th Avenue West, Alexandria, will host a spaghetti and meatball dinner, silent auction and seasonal bake sale from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Adults are $7, children younger than 10 are $4 and toddlers are free. Saturday, November 10: Alexandria United Methodist Church is offering a free sausage/pancake breakfast from 9 to 10 a.m. at the church, 2210 6th Avenue East in Alexandria. For information, call (320) 763-4624.
Annual bazaar
Saturday, November 10: Bethesda Lutheran Church in Alexandria is offering their annual bazaar from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Coffee and homemade rolls will be served at 8 a.m. and a lunch of creamed turkey and mashed potatoes served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will be lefse (preorder at [320] 763-5164), baked goods, crafts, a raffle quilt, coverlet and a guided fishing trip.
