Food and Wine Showcase set

Alexandria Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce presents its first Food and Wine Showcase on Friday, November 9 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Arrowwood Resort and Conference Center in Alexandria.

This event will allow guests to “travel the world” in small groups to four themed food stations while learning about region-specific cuisine and wine pairings from culinary experts.

Local food purveyors, Bug-A-Boo Bay, Arrowwood, Sixth Avenue Wine and Ale and Doolittles, will allow guests to indulge in foods from regions of the Caribbean, Italy, France and the Pacific Northwest.

Wine experts with Cash Wise Liquor will be paired with each chef to acquaint the guests to the wines from those same regions, which pair well with each plated presentation. A dessert station paired with dessert wines will top off the evening.

Space is limited. Reservations are required. Contact the Chamber of Commerce at (320) 763-3161 for reservations. Tickets are $50 per person.
