Car runs into shed; driver injured

A Chevrolet Malibu driven by Derek Ellingson, 29, of Alexandria ran partially into a shed at a residence on Rosewood Lane and 8th Avenue in Alexandria.

A Chevrolet Malibu driven by Derek Ellingson, 29, of Alexandria ran partially into a shed at a residence on Rosewood Lane and 8th Avenue in Alexandria Wednesday morning at about 9:15 a.m.

North Ambulance transported Ellingson to the Douglas County Hospital and he was later transferred to St. Cloud Hospital in critical condition.

As of Thursday morning, he remained hospitalized and his condition was upgraded to fair.
