Letter - Another example of Bale's leadership
County Commissioner Bev Bales was unanimously elected chair of the State Health and Human Services Committee at a conference of the Association of Minnesota Counties.
To the editor:
County Commissioner Bev Bales was unanimously elected chair of the State Health and Human Services Committee at a conference of the Association of Minnesota Counties.
Numerous changes are happening in the health care field for all counties, including Douglas. It is important that all 87 counties keep in touch with each other’s improvements/changes/ideas and shared concerns.
This committee has always provided a great deal of insight into health issues that benefit all counties. Scheduled meetings are enhanced with webinars and conference calls to keep all counties abreast of any changes/issues they need to know about.
Chairing other state, and many regional and local committees, like the Douglas County Hospital, has been a real asset for Bev being chosen for this position.
“I am pleased to be chairing this committee,” said Bales. “It is a challenge that I am definitely up to and I am excited to be serving in this role.”
Just another example of Bev’s fine leadership qualities. Keep Bev working for us.
