Letter - Vote Republican for moral values

Most people consider it an imperative to vote for a candidate who upholds his or her own moral values.

To the editor:

Most people consider it an imperative to vote for a candidate who upholds his or her own moral values. You may think that if you vote for a Democrat for Congress or the Minnesota Legislature, that they will uphold your moral values if he/she states their belief that life begins at conception and will vote to support life from conception to natural death; or states that he/she will vote to support the concept of marriage being between one many and one woman.

However, as has been demonstrated on both the state and national level, when Democrats assume control of the legislative branches of government, historically, they elect leaders within the Legislature who are opposed to the above two propositions. The Democrats will use their majority to continue to thwart votes in supporting the above concepts.

There is a good alternative course of action: Vote Republican!
