Alexandria’s Art Berg has been a member at the Atikwa Golf Club since the mid-1970s but never carded an elusive hole-in-one until just recently.
Berg, at 90 years old, was golfing with Darrell Forsung, Paul Hanson and Dave Egge on September 21 when he aced the par-3 eighth hole at Atikwa. He used a nine iron from 78 yards out to accomplish a feat that was well worth the wait for the longtime golfer.
