Letter - Charlie Meyer is an experienced leader
I can think of several reasons why Charlie Meyer will make a great county commissioner. Here are just a few: his 37 years in business, for instance. He knows budgets and how to make a business work.

I can think of several reasons why Charlie Meyer will make a great county commissioner. Here are just a few: his 37 years in business, for instance. He knows budgets and how to make a business work.
He is an experience leader. He has served as president of the Minnesota Bowling Proprietors Association and is the current president of the West Central Food and Beverage Association. Charlie also served 12 years on the Viking Savings and Loan Association Board. He is no stranger to understanding finance and caring for other people’s money.
And don’t forget all his service to our community, including 37 years with the Rotary Club, 21 years with the Alexandria Fire Department and as president of the Relief Association.
But what I like about Charlie the most is that he is approachable and will listen to you. It doesn’t matter if you are a bank president or a dish washer in a restaurant, he will show you respect and dignity. That’s the kind of guy I want representing me.
