Letter - Romney will lead with principles

Has President Obama made Congress irrelevant? If he can’t get his initiatives through even a mostly Democrat-controlled Congress, he issues an executive order to force his policies and heavy-spending agendas through.

To the editor:

Has President Obama made Congress irrelevant? If he can’t get his initiatives through even a mostly Democrat-controlled Congress, he issues an executive order to force his policies and heavy-spending agendas through. Or, he directs his regulatory agencies to create new rules to accomplish what he wants in order to bypass Congress.

The U.S. Constitution is extremely clear in the relationship of the three branches of government toward one another. Each branch has certain powers, which are designed to be limited and/or checked by the other. This separation of power is designed to ensure that no one branch has too much power over the other.

It seems as if we have become accustomed to more of a dictatorial form of government under President Obama.

Elect Mitt Romney on November 6. He will lead our country by the constitutional principles developed by our founding fathers.
