Scott Fassett to play in concert band

Scott Fassett, the son of Jeffrey and Rhonda Fassett of Alexandria, has been selected to participate in Concert Band at Bethany Lutheran College in Mankato. Fassett is a 2010 graduate of Jefferson High School in Alexandria.

Berglund works for technology center

Charity Berglund of Alexandria, a senior design technology student at Bemidji State University, will work for the college’s Academic Technology Center (ATC) during the 2012-13 school year. The ATC helps students, staff and faculty with technology issues, as well as offers equipment setup, video and digital media production and presentation consultation.

Jordana Reece commissioned to create art

Jordana Reece of Alexandria, currently a graphic design student at the University of Minnesota (U of M) College of Design in Minneapolis/St. Paul, was commissioned to create nine watercolors for a new exhibit opening at the James Ford Bell Library on the U of M Twin Cities campus on October 8.
