Letter - Vote for community growth and prosperity
Every organization, business or group needs leaders throughout all levels in order to be successful in achieving their goals.
To the editor:
Every organization, business or group needs leaders throughout all levels in order to be successful in achieving their goals. Effective leadership at the top of an organization is required to ensure that all members involved are working toward a common goal.
A great leader must have a vision of where the organization is going; be passionate about meeting the challenges ahead; have the ability to make hard decisions for the good of all; and must be a team builder.
Sara Carlson has all of these traits of being a great leader. She has been on the city council for nine years, serving on many committees while at the same time helping to manage the family business. Her commitment to the long term success of Alexandria is well known within the community. She has demonstrated time and time again on her ability to work with city staff employees as well as other council members to get things done.
A vote for Sara Carlson for mayor is a vote for community growth and prosperity.
