Windows were smashed in two Alexandria parking lots Sunday night. Between the hours of 7:30 and 11 p.m., Alexandria Police officers were called to Target and Fat Daddy’s Bar and Grill to respond to reports of thefts from vehicles in the parking lots.

A white male believed to be in his 20s has been identified as the suspect who broke windows to gain entry and remove property from the vehicles.

Video obtained from the Target incident shows the man looking into vehicles and breaking the window out of one vehicle. The video also captured images of a four-door silver or gray compact car, which is a suspected vehicle used in the thefts, according to police. At least two suspects were in the vehicle at the time of the theft.

The Alexandria Police Department is asking all citizens to remove valuables from their unattended vehicles. Photos of the suspect vehicle can be seen on the Alexandria Police Department's website.

Anyone with information regarding these incidents or has observed any suspicious activity is asked to contact the Alexandria Police Department at (320) 763-6631.
