Foli-Ole-Fest is Saturday
This Saturday, families are invited to celebrate fall with fun activities and give to the Douglas County Food Shelf at the same time.
This Saturday, families are invited to celebrate fall with fun activities and give to the Douglas County Food Shelf at the same time.
It's the eighth annual "Foli-Ole-Fest" at Anderson Florist and Greenhouse, 1610 6th Avenue East in Alexandria from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The only admission is one non-perishable food item per person or a cash donation for the food shelf.
Sponsored by many local businesses, the event will include a petting zoo, hay rides, face painting, apples on a string, cookie decorating, candy hunt, coffee and cider, kids' games and more.
