Section 6A girls' tennis: Osakis, Minnewaska advance in team playoffs

Top-seeded Osakis and fourth-seeded Minnewaska both won opening matches in the Section 6A girls' tennis team quarterfinals Wednesday.

Osakis was a 7-0 winner over West Central Area, while Minnewaska defeated Long Prairie-Grey Eagle/USA 6-1.

Sauk Centre defeated Benson/KMS 5-2 and Melrose won 6-1 over Parkers Prairie.

Osakis and Minnewaska play today at 8 a.m. The winner will face the Sauk Centre/Melrose winner today at noon in the 6A championship.
