NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING TO ENACT ORDINANCE AMENDMENT

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: Notice is hereby given that the Alexandria Township Planning Commission will convene on October 22, 2012, at 6:00 PM at 610 Fillmore Street to conduct a public hearing to consider the enactment of amendments to Ordinance #123 (Zoning Ordinance). The amendments would be to the Township’s regulations regarding septic system installation, inspection and maintenance so as to be consistent with the recent amendments to state law and Douglas County ordinances.

All interested persons are invited to attend the hearings and be heard or send written comments to Alexandria Township at PO Box 445, Alexandria, MN 56308. Information on the proposed amendments are available on-line at www.hometownplanning.com approximately 5-7 days prior to the hearing or by contacting Hometown Planning at 888-439-9793.
