Ryder Lenarz qualifies for international tractor pull
Ryder Lenarz, son of Mike and Jenny Lenarz of Garfield, has been competing in pedal tractor pulls throughout the summer.

Ryder Lenarz took first place in 11 regional tactor pulls this summer, which qualified him to compete at the state level, where he again finished first in his division. He finished second at the national level and qualified for the international event next August. (File photo)
Ryder Lenarz, son of Mike and Jenny Lenarz of Garfield, has been competing in pedal tractor pulls throughout the summer.
He finished in first place in all 11 events that he competed in, qualifying several times for the Minnesota State Tractor Pull, which was held September 8 in Hutchinson.
Lenarz took first place in the state competition out of 51 4-year-old boys.
He then competed in the National Pull in Mitchell, South Dakota on September 22 and took second place, just six inches shy of first.
He qualified for the International Pull in August of 2013, which will likely be held in Iowa.
