A benefit account has been set up for Dennis and Sharon Nack of Alexandria.
Nack was hospitalized and diagnosed with terminal lung disease. Full time oxygen and limited mobility became his means of living, and only a lung transplant could save him.
For several months, he committed to pulmonary rehab and evaluation at the University of Iowa Medical Center. He was finally approved to be a lung transplant candidate and received his transplant on August 30.
To help alleviate the financial burden of travel, deductibles, co-payments and lifelong prescriptions, family and friends have established a fundraising campaign through HelpHOPELive. Contributions may be sent to HelpHOPELive, 150 N Radnor Chester Road, Suite F-120, Radnor, PA 19087.
HelpHOPELive is a nonprofit organization that has been assisting the transplant community for nearly 30 years. It provides both tax-deductibility and fiscal accountability to contributors.
