Motorists in west central Minnesota, including the Brandon area, will experience delays, detours and lane closures on several highways beginning today, October 2, as crews begin culvert repair and replacement projects.
The affected locations include Interstate 94 eastbound at the Brandon interchange. Eastbound traffic will detour onto the exit ramp and back onto the entrance ramp. Westbound traffic will not be affected.

--Highway 114 between Highway 27 and Highway 55
--Highway 12 between Highway 59 and Highway 119
--Highway 27 between Browns Valley and Highway 117
--Highway 28 between Johnson and Graceville
--Highway 55 between Highway 59 and Highway 9—detour required
--Highway 55 between Highway 9 and Highway 75—detour required
--Highway 75 between Wheaton and Highway 55—detour required
--Highway 75 between Dumont and Wheaton
--Highway 119 between Highway 12 and Appleton
Local traffic will be allowed within detour areas, except at the culvert repair sites.
Traffic will be reduced to a single lane while work is in progress at all other locations. Each project outside of the detour routes will take approximately three days to complete.
