With two matches going to tiebreakers and another needing three sets to be decided, the Minnewaska girls’ tennis team came away with a 4-3 win over West Central Area in a matchup of section foes.
The Lakers took three of the four singles matches and one of the doubles.
Ellen Stensrud and Hannah Freske won in straight sets at first and third singles, with Jada Hoffman winning the second singles spot in a three-set match.
Makenna Hanson and Rachel Riley earned the fourth win for Minnewaska at first doubles with a straight set 6-0, 6-0 victory.
