Remembering prisoners of war
Residents of Grand Arbor watched as Alexandria VFW Auxiliary members raised a new Prisoners of War (POW) flag outside the assisted living facility on September 21, National POW/MIA Day.
Residents of Grand Arbor watched as Alexandria VFW Auxiliary members raised a new Prisoners of War (POW) flag outside the assisted living facility on September 21, National POW/MIA Day.
The auxiliary donated flags to both Grand Arbor and Knute Nelson. Cecelia Haffner, Auxiliary president, encouraged the residents to remember and pray for U.S. soldiers who are missing in action or being held captive overseas.
