Readers Theater seeks volunteers

A volunteer opportunity is available for anyone interested in bringing joy to elementary-aged children. The requirements are simple: a love of reading, a love of theater and a desire to impart both of these passions to young children.

Participants in Readers Theater are given a variety of scripts to read. The parts are read with expression to audiences. Readers Theater members may find themselves playing the part of a frog, a princess, a dragon, a Dr. Seuss character, a butterfly or many others.

No memorization is necessary, just a voice that can register emotional inflections. Male voices are in great demand.
