The Osakis tennis team got one of its toughest tests of the season on Monday as the Minnewaska girls pushed them to the brink before coming up just short in a 4-3 match.
It’s going to take a well-rounded team to beat the Silverstreaks and the Lakers almost did that with two wins in the singles lineup. The difference came in doubles, where Osakis took the second and third spots to secure the win and improve to 13-0 on the season.
“Minnewaska played us tough today,” head coach Ryan Maddock said. “Their first and third singles played very well today.”
The Osakis tennis team upped its record to 12-0 with another easy win, this time over West Central Area.
