Cross country: West Central Area runners fifth, eighth

An eighth place finish from Abby VanKempen and a ninth place finish from Alex Toms paced the West Central Area Knights as they competed at the Little Crow Invitational in New London-Spicer last Thursday.

As a team, the West Central Area boys were fifth, while the girls turned in an eighth place finish.
