Sarianna Gaugert of Alexandria is one of 80 new freshmen selected this year as a Falcon Scholar at the University of Wisconsin River Falls. The new Falcon Scholars program awards $1,000 scholarships that are renewable for up to four years. Students named Falcon Scholars also receive a $2,000 stipend that may be used for undergraduate research or to study abroad in their junior or senior year.
