Letter - There is one issue we can never allow to be dropped

As the election season gets under way in earnest, some recurring issues begin to be hotly debated yet again.

To the editor:

As the election season gets under way in earnest, some recurring issues begin to be hotly debated yet again. Sometimes these recurring themes are talked about so many times that many get tired of standing their ground on the issue at hand.

Though I understand that weariness, there is one issue that we can never allow to be dropped. It is the issue of the rights of the unborn. We need to ensure that we take a stand as a community for the rights of the unborn. We cannot allow the march of abortion to get worse. In fact, we need to work to roll it back.

One very practical way to do that is to vote for state and federal representatives who also believe in the right to life. One such person is Representative Mary Franson. We need someone like her, who we can trust to get the job done. She will stand for our children and our future.

On November 6, I encourage everyone to vote for Representative Mary Franson to protect those not yet born. In other words, to protect our future.
