Seminar offers help to veterans dealing with chronic pain

The St. Cloud VA Health Care System will host a chronic pain management seminar on Thursday, Oct. 25, to educate veterans and their families on mind-body wellness techniques to assist with self-management of chronic pain.

The same seminar will be offered at two different times and locations. Veterans and their families may attend the session that best suits their needs.

The first session is scheduled from 9 to 11:30 a.m. at St. Cloud VFW Post 428, located at 9 18th Ave N, in St. Cloud (next to Granite Bowl). The second session is scheduled from 6 to 8:30 p.m., in the Auditorium (Bldg. 8) on the St. Cloud VA Medical Center campus.

The interactive seminar will involve audience participation, so participants should dress comfortably.

This program is free, and pre-registration is required. The program agenda and registration form can be found at www.stcloud.va.gov. Registration is open now and continues through Oct. 11.
