Crash on Fairgrounds Road
A two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Fairgrounds Road and 3rd Avenue in Alexandria this morning has created some buzz around town.
A two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Fairgrounds Road and 3rd Avenue in Alexandria this morning has created some buzz around town. The collision resulted in minor injuries.
At 7:18 a.m. Alexandria Police responded to the scene where Margaret Kocher, 76, of Glenwood was traveling eastbound on County Road 82 (3rd Avenue) in a 2005 Buick LeSabre. Kayla Krause, 22, of Alexandria was on Fairgrounds Road facing north and was going to make a left hand turn, according to police.
Police reported that the collision was intersection related.
