Central Square in Glenwood announces Concert Series X

There is a great line-up of performing arts to be presented in the historic auditorium at Central Square in Glenwood, beginning with Ensemble 61, a contemporary classical group of musicians performing a concert entitled "Water Music" on Friday, September 21.
On Saturday, October 13, the bluegrass group Monroe Crossing will perform. On Saturday, December 8, Jevetta Steele, a singer from the Twin Cities, will perform a holiday concert including jazz and blues along with two more musicians.
Skipping ahead to the spring of 2013, the National Players, one of the longest running touring groups of young theater professionals, will present a re-imagined and re-energized production of Romeo and Juliet on Saturday, April 13.
On Friday, May 3, the award-winning singer/actor J. Mark McVey will be in concert. He has toured throughout the country in the role of Jean Val Jean in Les Miserables.
All the concerts begin at 7:30 p.m. Concert series tickets are $60 for adults and $25 for students and include reserved seating. Individual tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for students, available at the door.
