Harvest festival

Sunday, September 9: Solem Church in Kensington is offering its annual harvest festival at 2 p.m., featuring the gospel sounds of Jimmy Jenson. Coffee and dessert will follow the program. A free will offering will be accepted. The festival is sponsored by the Solem Preservation Association.

Country fair

Saturday, September 15: First Lutheran Church in Kensington is hosting a Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America country fair from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Activities will include lunch, crafts, fish pond, bake sale, Scandinavian table, grab bags and trash to treasure sale. Everyone welcome.
