Republican headquarters to host open house

The Douglas County Republican Campaign Headquarters and Victory Center will have an open house on Thursday, September 13 from noon to 6 p.m.

The public is invited to stop in for coffee and cookies and to pick up campaign literature and lawn signs. Local Republican representatives and candidates will be present throughout the day.

The victory center, located at 514A Nokomis Street South (1/2 block north of 6th and Nokomis), is open now through the election. Hours are Monday through Friday, noon to 6 p.m. and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Republicans running for office this year in Douglas County include Sen. Bill Ingebrigtsen (District 8 Senate), Rep. Mary Franson (8B House), Rep. Torrey Westrom (District 12 Senate), Scott Dutcher (12A House), Rep. Paul Anderson (12B House), Lee Byberg (U.S. Congress) and Kurt Bills (U.S. Senate).
