The Minnewaska volleyball team was swept at the hands of Sauk Centre on Tuesday night as the Lakers fell to 1-2 on the young season.
The Mainstreeters kept Minnewaska at an arm’s length in all three sets, winning 25-18, 25-17 and 25-12. That improved Sauk Centre to 6-0 on the season.
Lexi Amundson led the Lakers with seven kills, while Sydney Joos added six. Ashton Byrne finished with 18 assists and Alison Hoeper led the defense with 24 digs.
