Alex boys' soccer: Cards power past Fergus
The Alexandria boys’ soccer team used three second-half goals to run away with a 3-1 win over Fergus Falls on Tuesday night.

The Otters jumped out to a 1-0 lead at the 44-minute mark as Sam Rausch put a penalty kick into the back of the net. Alexandria responded at the 66-minute mark with the equalizer.
That turned the tide in Alexandria’s favor. The Cardinals added the go-ahead goal just three minutes later before putting the finishing touches on the win with a goal in the 79th minute.
Alexandria moved to 2-0 with the win and 1-0 in the Central Lakes Conference.
