The Alexandria Area Community Foundation (AACF) seeks to make one or two significant grants that will be the “difference maker” in bringing about a lasting, positive change in the Alexandria area community.
AACF looks to provide leadership financial support and make a connection that goes beyond the grant in order to advance the project or initiative. Up to $50,000 is available in this grant round. The minimum grant request is $20,000 and the maximum is $50,000.
Organizations applying for a grant must be 501(c)(3) nonprofits, schools or government entities that serve the residents within Douglas County.
Funding may go toward capital expenses, new or expanded programs/projects and/or other strategic investments that will have a lasting impact in the Alexandria area community.
AACF uses an online application process. The grant guidelines and electronic application can be found at www.AlexandriaFoundation.org under the AACF Grants link. Applications must be submitted online by midnight on September 15.
Nonprofits that want to receive future e-mail updates about Alexandria grant rounds or that have specific questions should contact Susan Lorenz at firstname.lastname@example.org.
