The Osakis tennis team continues to pile up wins early on this season after sweeping another quadrangular and once again winning the Hiway 10 tournament in Staples and Wadena early last week.

The Silverstreaks made it look easy in picking up wins against LPGE-USA, Little Falls and Benson-KMS last Friday, dropping just one match the entire day. Of the 21 matches in the quad, 18 were decided in straight sets as Osakis showed off the depth of its lineup.

That depth is what led to another Hiway 10 championship earlier in the week as the Silverstreaks racked up 39 team points to finish five points ahead of second-place Staples-Motley. Osakis took first place individually in four of the seven spots.

Taylor Kraemer and Hannah Szech won their spots at first and fourth singles, respectively. Elyse Wiener and Katelyn Foster teamed up to take first at third doubles and Missy Weir and Marissa Zarbok did the same at fourth doubles.

Hannah Baker and Angie Bowman each took second at second and third singles to add to the point totals. Lauren Silbernick and Alexa Hoffarth were third at first doubles and Peyton Garcia and Katie Anderson took sixth at second doubles.

The three more wins in the quadrangular kept Osakis undefeated on the early season as the Silverstreaks look well on their way to another strong season.
