Northwestern Trombone Quartet to perform at Mount Carmel

The Northwestern Trombone Quartet will perform a concert on Wednesday, August 22 at 4 p.m. in the Mount Carmel Chapel, located on County Highway 11 on Lake Carlos.

The quartet was formed in 2006 by three students and one music professor from Northwestern College in Roseville. They have performed on Australian Public Radio, for Northwestern College supporters in Arizona, at the St. Paul Cathedral in St. Paul and for many other occasions.

The group consists of Scott Smith, John Baumgartner and founding members Garrett Lahr and Andrew Nelson.

With a wide selection of music from classical to jazz, there will be something for everyone.

The public is invited. Donations will be accepted.
