Following are the upcoming Red Cross blood drives in the area:

• Monday, August 20, noon to 6 p.m., Calvary Lutheran Church, 605 Douglas Street, Alexandria.
• Tuesday, August 21, noon to 6 p.m., Calvary Lutheran Church, 605 Douglas Street, Alexandria.
• Tuesday, August 28, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Armory, 311 Broadway Street, Alexandria.
Call 1-800-733-2767 or visit redcrossblood.org to make an appointment or for information. A blood donor's card or driver's license, or two other forms of identification are required.
Individuals who are 17 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds and are in generally good health may be eligible.
