Living Waters Church, along with other area churches, invite the public to attend their "Children's Summer Bash" featuring Let's Go and Company Puppet Team.
The community is invited to Alexandria City Park on Sunday, August 12 from 3 to 5 p.m. for an informal puppet presentation. On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, August 13-15, the puppet team will perform at 6:30 p.m. at Living Waters Church.
Let's Go and Company was formed in May 2003 to reach out to the families of the National Guard while the Guard was away serving in Iraq. After the outreach, the puppet team continued on to visit local churches and community centers. The team's mission is to train youth to do children's ministry, but the ultimate goal is to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Registration begins 30 minutes prior to the services on Monday through Wednesday. Prizes will be awarded nightly and a grand prize, a new bicycle, will be given on the last day of the event for the child who brings the largest number of kids.
Children 4 or younger must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at least 18 years or older.
Living Waters Church is located at 1310 North Nokomis in Alexandria. For more information, call (320) 763-5224.
