'Echo Press' to host Strike Out Illiteracy

The Echo Press is proud to present the Strike Out Illiteracy bowling tournament on Tuesday, September 18 at 5 p.m. at the Garden Center Lanes.

All types of sponsors are needed. Team sponsors are $140 and include three games of bowling, shoe rental, prizes and pizza and pop for the team.

All it takes is $100 to be a lane sponsor. It is a great opportunity to be part of an event to promote literacy in our young readers. Sponsorship also includes recognition in all promotional materials provided to classrooms, in all event advertising and on the day of the event.

Door prize sponsors will receive recognition during the reception, recognition in thank-you advertisement and the donation of an item to be given away at the reception.

Proceeds will go to the Newspapers in Education program, which provides newspapers and educational activities to area teachers for use in their classrooms.
