Broadway work in full swing

The $2 million project is scheduled to be completed by late August, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

If you plan on traveling on Alexandria’s Broadway between 8th and 50th Avenue, be prepared for traffic jams and delays. Crews are busy resurfacing the road, which serves as State Highway 29, and reconstructing intersections along the three-mile stretch.

Traffic is being funneled into one lane for each direction of travel. All businesses in the construction zone are still accessible.

The $2 million project is scheduled to be completed by late August, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
