Because of redistricting, the legislative boundaries were redrawn in Minnesota. Voters will find themselves in different legislative districts and in some instances, different county commissioner districts as well.

Here are the new boundaries in Douglas County:

State House District 8B – townships of Alexandria, Belle River, Carlos, Ida, Leaf Valley, Miltona, Osakis and Spruce Hill; cities of Carlos, Miltona, Nelson and Osakis. Endorsed candidates include Mary Franson, R, and Bob Cunniff, DFL. DFLer Bruce Campbell is also in the race and is running in the primary.

District 8B is also part of Senate District 8. Those candidates include Bill Ingebrigtsen, R, and Dan Skogan, DFL.
