Letter - Candidate Dropik is no stranger to business
While county spending continues to be a major concern, I’m urging voters to support Bill Dropik for District 4 Commissioner. Knowing Bill nearly my entire life, I know him to be a hard working, honest, conservative individual. Others who know Bill will agree he would have a strong voice for taxpayers on the county board.
To the editor:
While county spending continues to be a major concern, I’m urging voters to support Bill Dropik for District 4 Commissioner. Knowing Bill nearly my entire life, I know him to be a hard working, honest, conservative individual. Others who know Bill will agree he would have a strong voice for taxpayers on the county board.
Candidate Dropik is no stranger to business, large budgets and negotiations having served on numerous boards while active on his farm. Bill has made many trips to our capital and Washington, D.C., working with officials supporting agriculture. Join me in supporting his energy for Douglas County.
Citizens on fixed incomes and younger people starting families need to be considered when excessive spending continues and the debt grows larger.
As individuals, we all have to live within our means. Why then, when spending tax dollars, it appears to be an open checkbook? When spending more than what citizens can afford, then by what means do our officials propose payment?
Each district should give a hard look at its commissioner doing right by the county. In District 3, we feel our commissioner is doing that. Be assured Bill Dropik will accomplish that from District 4.
