The Alexandria School Board is inviting district residents to give their thoughts on what’s needed in a new superintendent of schools at community stakeholder meetings scheduled for August 15.
Superintendent search consultant, Greg Vandal, will lead small and large group discussions in two general areas. Vandal will ask participants to identify the characteristics the district should seek in the next school superintendent. He will also ask those in attendance to identify the key areas of focus for the leader in the next several years.
The information gathered from these stakeholder meetings will help guide the board in the selection process. Board members hope to hire a new superintendent in October.
District residents interested in participating should contact Susan Scarborough at (320) 762-3310, extension 4271 for meeting location and times.
